The One Prayer that will Restore Your Relationships

I recently found myself writing down a particular set of prayers. While I was writing out the prayer, I said to myself, this seems a little selfish. I continued writing anyway and then I brought it before the Lord and the Holy Spirit said to me Janice I won’t do this. Huh? What? What do you mean God? I asked. I thought it wasn’t too much to ask and that the answer to that prayer, would be the solution to the problem. About a week went by and everyday I was still  praying this prayer, really just a couple of requests written on an index card. Each time, I felt as though God was nudging me in a different direction. Not this, I kept hearing Him say. This is not that important right now.

I finally ripped up the index card and threw it in the trash. I walked to the bathroom a couple steps away and as clear as daylight, the Holy Spirit said pray for revelation, redemption, restoration and freedom. Talk about obedience to the voice of God. I was beyond overjoyed at the nearness of God and His faithfulness, in what seems like minute things. So I began praying this prayer and I’m still praying it and I’ve seen the hand of God.

Pray that God will:

Reveal – JEHOVAH NEGAMOTH (God reveals)

Redeem – JEHOVAH GO’ELECK (God redeems)

Restore – JEHOVAH EL-ASHIYB (God restores)

Set free – JEHOVAH NISSI (The Lord is our banner, He gives us victory)

Here’s One Prayer that will Restore Your Relationships

Pray that God will reveal Himself to you and to the other party you are praying for. Pray that he/she will seek God with all his/her heart and find Him. Pray that He will respond to your faith and show up in ways that only He can do and get the glory for.

And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:13

Pray for the redeeming grace of Jesus Christ to overwhelm you and this person. That he/she will be brought out of darkness and into the marvelous light. Pray that God will minister to the soul of the individual and speak to his/her heart in ways only He can do, as He’s the creator and He knows him/her best.

He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins. Colossians 1:13-14

Pray that God will then begin to restore the years the enemy has stolen. Pray that every day, month and year that has brought despair, hurt and devastation will be restored by His faithful hand.

And I will restore to you the years that the locust has eaten. Joel 2:25

Speak the Word over the life of this person and pray that God will set him/her free from sin and death and into eternal life in Jesus Christ. Pray for freedom from whatever holds him/her captive (unforgiveness, drugs, alcohol, sexual sins, past hurt, unclean thoughts).

The Lord frees the prisoners. Psalm 146:7 (NLT)

Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed. John 8:36

Remember This

God is faithful to do what He says He will. He will do what’s in His Word. This is a fail proof prayer. You will not pray amiss when you are praying the will of God and the will of God is that all should come to the knowledge of Him and love Him and love others. God reveals, redeems, restores and sets free.

End with this

This is the confidence that I (your name) have in You God, that anything I ask according to Your will, You hear me. And if I know that You hear me, then I’ll have what I ask. 1 John 5:14

Keep praying until something happens, pray faithfully. Don’t quit! If you think it looks bleak or nothing seems to be happening, remember that God is working because He’s not deaf to your fervent prayers. Put yourself on God’s clock and let Him do His job. Have faith in Him. You just keep pressing and praying.

Luke 18:1-8 (NLT) Persistent Praying

One day Jesus told his disciples a story to show that they should always pray and never give up.

“There was a judge in a certain city,” he said, “who neither feared God nor cared about people.

A widow of that city came to him repeatedly, saying, ‘Give me justice in this dispute with my enemy.’

The judge ignored her for a while, but finally he said to himself, ‘I don’t fear God or care about people, but this woman is driving me crazy. I’m going to see that she gets justice, because she is wearing me out with her constant requests!’”

Then the Lord said, “Learn a lesson from this unjust judge.

Even he rendered a just decision in the end. So don’t you think God will surely give justice to his chosen people who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off?

I tell you, he will grant justice to them quickly! But when the Son of Man returns, how many will he find on the earth who have faith?”
